Do not lower the voting age!

The right to vote, your opportunity to make a change. Your chance of having your little voice to create great changes. But any change is obviously not good. Every vote counts and every voice helps shape our country. We can not afford having incorrect changes. Thats why the age that is required to vote should not be lowered.

Now you might wonder, why I believe that minors should not be allowed to vote? Children under 18 also has a voice so why should they not have the right to use it? But it is not so simply. As I just mentioned, they are still children. They do not have the ability to make a decision that affects the entire Swedish population. Still, it nowhere with only a primary school education. How many can actually get a decent job without a high school education? Not many at all! High school is the time to grow the most. Where you get your first job. This is where you learn all about the different ideologies, and that is where you create your own political opinion.
But one of the main reasons that you should not lower the voting age is that today there is a political party, you certainly know which party I'm referring to, Sweden Democrats! A party that is against people like me staying in this country. This political party got many votes from young people in school choice and the past year has grown enormously. A lowering of the voting age would mean that SD gets more voters and get even more power. Dare we really be controlled by a party whose main aim is to get rid of people like me, and many other foreign background?
