To begin with, the consumers of the free internet market are involved in a wide variety of interconnected webs within the main Web. For example; social media websites, buy and sell, work related amenities, education, hobby, and many more personal accommodational uses that require quick access and service. The consumers would feel the worst of the impact from take down of Net Neutrality due to being at the bottom of the food chain. Personally run businesses would be of less interest due to the inconvenience of the service, and blocking that could occur. Blocking refers to people being unable to go to certain websites without paying to use them. The unfortunate thing about that is the amount of individuals who already struggle with paying fees rely on it. Any source of downloading, streaming, or live features would be merely diminished unless paid for due to the quality of service that it would require. This lack of freedom will downsize the web market, and deplete the access for economic growth due less opportunity for lower economic classes to participate. At this point in time the government of Canada is on the pro Net Neutrality side of the debate seen as, Justin Trudeau stated that Net Neutrality “does not make sense if we are going to continue to ensure that technology, is the lever to opportunities for citizens right across the country” (Trudeau, 2017). Other countries, like the states, are not so lucky as Trump has a very heavily based business mentality. The ability for one to avoid the effects of Net neutrality is not dependent on nationwide stance, but location within the given nation as well.
