Oregon State is a public collage located in the suburbs Corvallis, Oregon. It is a four year collage that offers bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees. There are 30,592 students that attend Oregon State University. Of those students seventy one percent are in state students and twenty nine percent are out of state students. Fifty four percent of the students that go to Oregon State University are male and forty six percent are female with the average age being about twenty three years old. Sixty seven percent of the students at OSU are White, nine percent is Hispanic, seven percent is Asian, and one percent is Black or African American. 25,469 students are undergraduate students, 4,544 students are graduate students.

Tuition is $33,370, the room and board is $10,528, and the additional expenses are $360. This is definitely a negative part of this school, I really like it but it is super expensive. On the bright side, there are many scholarship opportunities at George fox. They have the Merit Scholarships which are given based on your GPA, ACT, and SAT scores. From the Merit Scholarships you can receive $7,000-$17,000 a year. There is also competitive scholarships where students come and compete on campus for scholarships. They also have need based grants, work study programs, and student loans you can use to help pay for your tuition. This does not mean that they don’t have a good athletics program. They have baseball, basketball, football, cross country, golf soccer, swimming, tennis, and track and field for men. For women they have basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, softball, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. They have won multiple conference titles and national titles for division three sports, and also the women’s basketball coach for OSU used to coach for George Fox.
