Rough draft Texas A&M is the first public institution. The student body is 50,000 and the campus has 5,200 acres of land. The first name of Texas A&M was Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas. Texas A&M is one of the six senior military colleges. The university is home to 170,000 people. The State of Texas agreed to create Texas A&M under the Morrill Act of November 1866. Admission to college was only allowed to white males. All students were required to participate in military training. Texas A&M went through a lot of changes. Loan fees is $62 . For books and supplies will be 1,000. For travel, it will be $606. For miscellaneous things, it will cost $2,100. For groceries, it will cost me $30 to $40. I plan to live in the dorms at Texas A&M. The dorms would be big. I would have a roommate that I hopefully would like. The extracurricular activities that I would join would be yearbook and theater/drama club. Yearbook is really fun because you get to design the yearbook. I am in yearbook in high school and it is a lot of fun. I have took yearbook three years in a row. Theater/drama club would be fun to join because I think that being in a play would be fun.
