As a strategic marketing analysis the marketing trend would be a primary focus. The mix of formatting for future IndyCar races using oval tracks and street and road courses would be a concern. Indycar was known for Oval tracks. Oval racing came of age on dirt all across the country(Wilkinson, 2014). People are concern that IndyCar will be redirected from its beginning. IndyCar promotes the mix of races as being challenging to drivers by forcing them to master a variety of tracks in order to win the IndyCar season championship(Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). Oval racing is fading out because they are not putting on a show. From a marketing analysis standpoint the focus should be on how to draw customers and entertain them to keep them coming.
