As standardized testing is being used now, it a defective way of testing the abilities of today’s students. Standardized testing is should not be used to check a student’s aptitude since the only thing it assesses is how wildly fast you answer questions. With the time allotted to you, when it is about to end, students start hurrying to finish since they want to at least have an answer than nil. The assessment doesn’t essentially measure the abilities instructors want the kids to pick up. Most schools and institutes use Standardized testing. These are tests that are planned in a way, they are run and noted in a constant method. Also it puts too much pressure on teachers and especially students. According to Barbara Miner, “Whether you are smart, stupid, lazy, or hardworking is being reduced to how fast and how accurately you can darken the circles on a multiple-choice test.
