The population in the United States is increasing every year. Hundreds of thousands of immigrants, legal and illegal from around the world, come into the United States. Some immigrants have many different motivations, such as hoping to get a chance to a better life, escaping persecution and civil wars in their home country. However, the large number of immigrants is affecting the native-born citizens of the United States. As the result, the President Trump decided to get an executive order that is about protecting the nation from foreign terrorist entry into the United States.
It became effective on January 27, 2017, in order to prevent the terrorist or criminal infiltration by foreign nationals. It was commonly known as the Muslim ban or the travel ban and was an executive order issued by United States President Donald Trump. Furthermore, it would bring in an interruption of the United States Refugee Admissions Program for at least 120 days. I think they are a great idea because the Department of Homeland Security can control the travel ban. Moreover, the United States might not be a country where everyone can come in easily. President Trump said “this is not about religion – this is about terror and keeping our country safe. There are over 40 different countries worldwide that are majority Muslim that are not affected by this order.” Because of the attacks in the United States, President Trump would have an order that could save this country. It would be a clear executive order and should be applied although the travelers will be difficult to get a visa.
