1. What career options are most attractive to you and why? (3 points)
As I had mentioned in the previous modules, I am very much interested in pursuing a career in clinical psychology. Clinical psychology means that I would be working with people of all different backgrounds in order to assess, diagnose, and treat various mental disorders. Many clinical psychologists choose to open up their own private practice, while others choose more public settings to work (e.g. schools/universities, medical facilities, or rehabilitation centers).

Identify at least three specific steps you will need to take to pursue your career goals (3 points)
In order to become a clinical psychologist, I would need to take a number of steps to achieve my career goal. The first step would be to earn my bachelors degree in psychology. Then, I would need to earn an advanced degree in psychology, i.e. masters and/or doctoral. To be able to get into most graduate programs in college, I would need to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher, score above 1200 on the Graduate Record Examination, and have some sort of experience in the field.
From what I’ve researched, all psychology programs require me to complete an internship during the course of my graduate studies. These internships have to be approved by the APA, the American Psychological Association. Once the internship has been completed, I should focus on passing the Examination of Professional Practice in Psychology and then applying for my state license afterward.

3. Identify one or two potential career mentors who you could do an informational interview with - list names and current titles (4 points)
