INTRODUCTION
Since the atrocious events that occurred on September 11th, 2001, the concept of terrorism has always been a prevalent notion in our society. At the time of the incipient event, rescue teams were out and about helping those that they could reach. Months after the event, once the brutality of the crime had sunk in, experts were put to the case of deciphering the causes of the attack. Since then, much research has been done into the mind-state of terrorists and the logic of terrorism, and now, psychologists are adequately able to perceive who may be a future threat.

As shown here, most acts of extremism are based on change in the world. Unfortunately, for some people, peaceful change does not look like a feasible idea, and therefore they get carried along the path of violence until they travel so far that they are hated by those who do not understand the mindset of a terrorist.
Treatment and Prevention
After extensive studies being conducted, psychologists are able to diagnose people with terrorist mindsets. This treatment mainly includes making the terrorist let go of the trauma of their past. After this, psychologists say, the treatment becomes easier from the patient. There are only a few minor steps which psychologists take after the "forgetting" which enables the patient to try to let go of terrorist thoughts.
Many psychological studies show that what children are taught in their early years resembles their future. From this, psychologists derive that a better solution to terrorism, though, is to influence people to the right path during childhood. If people are not subject to abject conditions during childhood, then fewer wrongdoings will occur during their later life. In this way, though it cannot be completely implemented, psychologists try to help society get rid of
