McDonald's mission statement is practically the same as Chick-fil-A's past mission statement. Basically, they need clients to pick them as their most loved place and approach to eat. There are numerous ways for McDonald’s to measure this. First, they can review random clients to discover their recurrence of visits, their level of fulfillment with their food, and their general experiences. Chick-fil-An and numerous different organizations in different businesses adopt this strategy by offering rebates or limited time on the client's receipt in return for a finished survey.
Do you even know who you are working for? How many companies treat their employees the right way, and how many of those employees love the company they work for? Jobs that pay well are hard to find, but jobs that have good benefits, good employees, and work out in the community are the hardest to find and this is the kind of business or company to look for to make work seem like fun and not so dreading all the time. It always helps to know what kind of company it is before deciding whether it is able to be a long term job or a short term job. However, it is not always about finding the easiest job to get or the money that the company pays, but more about these three key elements of a company that makes employees want to stick to their job
As an international student, Hobby Lobby is one of the companies out there that I have never heard of before. In my research to find a company that meet the requirements for this assignment, I came across the Hobby Lobby company. The company draw my instant attention not only by their mission statement, but also with what they are known for which is the offering of arts and crafts for home renovation. Their mission statement read to: -Offer our customers exceptional selection and value. -Honoring the Lord in all we do by operating the company in a manner consistent with Biblical principles -Serving our employees and families by establishing a work environment and company policies that build character, strengthen individuals and nurtures families.
Publix is a grocery store that I am familiar with in Huntsville. Publix stands out from its competitors like Kroger, Piggy Wiggly, Wal-Mart, and Whole Food Market for many reasons. For starters, Publix has a unique rewards program. For example, the Publix baby club and Publix Paw are free to join and include monthly savings and expert tips on baby and pet items. Publix also has two for one coupon which in contrast most of their competitors do not have available.
Hy-Vee is one of the top 25 grocery stores in the United States. With more than 230 stores located in eight different Midwestern states. Hy-Vee started off as a small general store in 1930 which grew into what it is today. Founded by Charles Hyde and David Vredenburg. According to About Hy-Vee, 2015, “Its slogan, "A Helpful Smile in Every Aisle," expresses the foundation of the company’s operating philosophy.”

The have an Associate Relations team that “works proactively to prevent inappropriate practices or violations of law or Publix policy. They also conduct training, administer management tests, and monitor progress of diversity initiatives.” (Publix, 2014) Having qualities that pursue equality is not only a step forward for the organization, but also to Publix’s followers. They are setting an example for other organizations. This is not to say that they haven’t overcome these obstacles.
For my job, I will be wearing scrubs. I am going to order five shirts from the Koi Warehouse for $124.75 and five pair of pants from $118.94 from MOBB Active Healthcare. I will also set aside $150 every 4 months for casual clothes or in case I have to replace a set of scrubs. I will go grocery shopping once a week and will spend no more than $40 each trip I make. I will be grocery shopping at Publix Super Market.
I really enjoyed the class discussion about their different job organization. I will like to discuss my job organization structure. My past job Publix we used a departmentalization organizational structure. Publix is an employee owned supermarket. We are departmentalization organizational structure because we are separated by product and service.
What types of marketing strategies is chick-fil-A following? The type of strategy that the founder and CEO S. Truett Cathy developed for Chick-Fil-A was a target marketing strategy. The reason is because S. Truett Cathy focused on building the companies and other strategies that he used around his Christianity beliefs. Chick-Fil-A also made sure that every employ focused on delivering the best service they could to every customer that they served.
