I've always been most passionate about pursuing a career in law, So the two of the careers that I decided to research involve law and now that we've started looking into careers, I've discovered two careers that I feel that will be good for me because both of the careers involve helping people which is one of the things that I love to do the most
Family law
Family law practitioners work with problems involving family ties in the context of divorce and separation. Family law attorneys can help those who are embroiled in disputes or stressful circumstances move past them. Technicians in forensic science write reports and testify in court. They frequently collaborate with other law enforcement officers and specialists. Critical-thinking abilities. When matching physical evidence, such as fingerprints and DNA, to suspects, forensic science technicians use their best judgment. Details matter. To be effective at collecting and analyzing evidence, forensic science technicians must be able to detect subtle changes in everyday objects. Math and science abilities are required. To analyze evidence, forensic science technicians must have a solid understanding of statistics and natural sciences. Problem-solving abilities. Forensic science technicians assist law enforcement officials in solving crimes by using scientific tests and methods.
Responsibilities
Technicians in forensic science work in laboratories and on crime scenes. Forensic science technicians typically perform the following tasks at crime scenes: Analyze crime scenes to determine what evidence should be collected and how it should be collected. Photograph the crime scene and evidence. Draw a sketch of the crime scene. Keep track of your observations and discoveries, such as the location and position of evidence.
