Pursuing A Degree In A BA Liberal Arts Career

In the future I would like to work in the ICT sector. I chose this field because I have a high level of interest in ICT. I only took up ICT for A-level and I have thoroughly enjoyed the course. My main choice for a BA Liberal Arts course is business studies. Although I do not study business studies in school, I have a keen interest in current affairs regarding religion, politics and business.
I have a very keen interest in music. I took up the subject for GCSE and I thoroughly enjoyed the course. I played the piano up to grade three and after I played for recreational purposes, playing modern and contemporary music. During GCSE music I had to compose a piece of music, using the Sibelius programme, around an area of study, which was Irish music. I feel with the advancement of technology the use of computers is vital. I would say I use computers every day, either with school work or with social media. I occasionally play around with recordings in my free time. I am currently teaching myself how to use Photoshop and video editing software, with the help of the internet. Editing photos and videos can be time-consuming but if the work is put in, the end result is very satisfying. I can relate my experience to editing photos and videos to the course, because I know that if I take my time and perfect my approach to completing projects I will be rewarded.
In the summer of 2016 I attended Colaiste Mhachaire Rabhartaigh, which is an Irish collage which helps develops students ability in spoken and written Irish. I spent three weeks practising my Irish speaking skills and developing my communication skills through group work and presentations. I also got my gold fainne which is awarded to students who pass an Irish speaking test. This test was at the end of the three weeks and showed that I could put into practice the things that we were taught throughout the
