Although my major is mathematics, I studied most of the core courses in the field of business, since I am keen on the area of financial services. I have several working experience in investment bank and commercial bank as well. The next step in my expectation is to enhance my personal professionalism through better-qualified academic program, furthermore, fully distinguishing and acquainting with the latest operations of the financial market. I plan to focus on financial math as a graduate, which is more related with my career path.
I am keen on Professor Paul Feehan’s research interests in mathematical finance, especially applications of partial-integro differential equations to derivatives, which is related to the my working experience I have gained as an intern. I am looking forward to doing the next financial research under his guidance. Simultaneously, curriculums in this program such as Computational Finance, Risk and Insurance Management and Credit Risk Modeling will be very helpful for boosting my analyzing and risk management skills.
