During west ottawa’s homecoming dance there was a girl who was dancing by herself so my friend and I had an idea to go dance with her. This shows caring because we wanted the girl to have fun with us instead of being alone half of the night. In the book Recovery Road and “The Bass, The River and Sheila Mant” Madeline and the narrator are both kind because Madeline helps others in need even if it puts her in danger and she puts other people before herself, the narrator in “The Bass, The River and Sheila Mant”

Kindness is one trait every individual desires to be treated with by others. It is , after all, the state of warm welcoming that helps us assimilate in a society. Besides, no one likes the feeling of getting rejected by a particular group based on their different backgrounds, culture, physique and/or experiences. The only way that perhaps heels this rejection ,due to the difference's in an individual, are the acts of when an another individual presents and treats others with their acts of benevolence. This act then also sheds a new light on an other individual's perspective, and gives them the knowledge to assert what they think is right for them to obtain their objectives.
Leo finally agrees to let Kevin interview Stargirl on "Hot Seat." Kevin asks her, and she agrees. The Glass Roses shows that individuals tend to hide their true emotions in order to gain respect from their peers however kindness, once truly unveiled can play a huge role in determining ones destiny.

In Greek mythology there are over a thousand stories about heroes and their adventures against nature and mystical and dangerous creatures. But there are always a few traits in the heroes that are repeated in all of these stories. And the Odyssey is not different. Through out the Odyssey the main character, Odysseus, shows a number of heroic qualities. Some of those qualities he shows is his kindness for his men, and bravery when facing all of the hardships in the Odyssey.
Jerry Spinelli’s in his novel Stargirl is filled with excessive symbols and the message of the novel is easily revealed through the insights of the main character, Leo Borlock. This is primarily due to the fact that it is basically a major change and then resettlement of the high school routine. Before Susan’s or Stargirl visit to Mica, Arizona the town was filled with cactus, suburb life and conformity. Excessive themes in Stargirl comes in forms of identity, exploration, society, love and friendship. The symbolism for these things are woven into the pages of the book.
The author’s message about kindness vs. bullying, been kindness to other people, they would respect you back. But, bullying to others does not work out with others because you don’t respect others and they would not respect you back. The thematic idea of kindness vs. bullying is shown in the novel Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli when Leo, Stargirl, and others show us the importance of been kindness and bullying through Stargirl’s act of kindness and Leo and others been rude behind Stargirl’s back. Stargirl’s act of kindness impacted Leo and the whole school proves the theme with kindness vs. bullying because she wanted to be an outsider.
There was also a man that took out his wallet, pulled out all the money he had, and put them into the box. Then, there was an old lady that searched through her pockets, finding only some quarters. Kindness is something everyone should have. It doesn’t matter if it’s toward a family member, a friend, or a stranger. Kindness is important to our society, especially as it grows more diverse and complex.
The morning of December 5th, 1952 was no different than any former day in London, England for Barbara Fewster and her fiancé. The air was frigid and there was fog just like any other day. After she woke up and got ready for dance class at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre Ballet, she put on her normal dance attire and sauntered toward the door. The only difference today, in this 24 year old’s life, was that she had to meet her fiancé for dinner with a conductor. Around 6pm she headed to meet her fiancé at a restaurant near Hampstead Hill, when there was already a slight fog.
Expanding kindness to all things is the trickiest part. But it can be done. Saunders mentions the most respectable names in history as an example of kindness like Gandhi, Mother Teresa, and Shakespeare. Kindness is what saves each of us. Each of us can recall the random act of kindness that was done to each of us.
In the novel To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, some people do not recognize that someone wants to help them. The people mentioned had been given or received kindness from someone but they do not know that they are trying to help. The types of kindness that will be shown is kindness within the Finch family, kindness shown through neighbours, and kindness of acquaintances. It is shown that kindness is taken for granted.
