It was June 23rd, after an exhausting day of travel including two flights, an hour long bumpy bus ride, and a hasty debriefing in a sketchy Wendy 's restaurant, my mission team reached our destination- Proyecto Manuelito, Talanga, Honduras. William Shakespeare’s Henry V is an extraordinary , determined, and a skilled figure. Henry V has the ability to communicate with people in such a way that it gives them motivation and hope. He demonstrates this by speaking to his troops in a manner that makes them all feel valued, no matter their social class. Henry’s greatest known speech is the “band of brothers” speech. This speech captivated everyone’s attention, not only because Henry did a great job in getting his feelings across, but because Henry spoke to all his men with respect regardless of who they were, or where they came from.

In enduring these complex emotions, this section was the most remarkable part. One of the first apparent emotions the boy experiences with the death of his father is loneliness to make this section memorable. The boy expresses this sentiment when he stays with his father described as, “When he came back he knelt beside his father and held his cold hand and said his name over and over again,” (McCarthy 281). The definition of loneliness is, “sadness because one has no friends or company.”
There was a wide variety of jobs in the Inca Civilization, though the dominant occupation was farming and the people did not have much say in what job they performed (“Daily Life in the Inca Empire”). First of all, there were many government jobs in the civilization, such as the Sapa Inca, nobles, or administrators; however most ordinary civilians could not perform the most important jobs as it was required that the person who did them be of original Inca descent, meaning their ancestors originated from the capital city of Cusco (“Daily Life in the Inca Empire”). Citizens could, however be administrators who managed and supervised life in specific areas of the land (“Daily Life in the Inca Empire”). People could also be artisans, who were craftsmen that worked with a variety of materials including silver, gold, bronze, and copper (Ellis and Esler 198-199). These artisans created many different types of objects that could range from simple tools to statues of the gods (Ellis and Esler 198-199).

The kiss overwhelmed him, surging through him with a passion and a desire like none other, like a victory finally won. He tingled with excitement and energy, the air just above his skin practically sizzling with the power at hand. Then the kiss broke apart, as they both needed to breathe, and that soft, teasing whisper as she asked him to try it now.

“ An Hour with Abuelo” by Judith Ortiz Cofer illustrates the theme that the world does not revolve around you. In the beginning of the story Arturo was forced to visit Abuelo and was trying to get out of the place as soon as possible. For example the text states that “ I hate the place, the old people’s home, especially the way it smells like industrial-strength ammonia and other stuff I won’t mention. ”(Ortiz Cofer 59). At the later stages of the story Abuelo politely excuses Arturo because of the pink runner lady which completely changed the roles in the story.
