Frenchie learned numerous lessons from Miig, which assisted in his growth into a young man and leader. He continues to tell difficulties he faced with his malicious teacher who torments the students including himself. It seemed neither the class nor living in France was helping him learn French. With his dedication and perseverance, he succeeded in understanding the French language.

The School Culture and climate is based on a shared commitment to the students that should be abided by at all times. In the short story, “Seventh Grade” by Gary Soto, Victor is a seventh grade boy who is a big daydreamer, shy, and somewhat ignorant. For example in the story Victor tries to impress his crush, Teresa, in French class and attempts to respond to the teacher’s statement in French, “La me vave me con le grandma,” his teacher asks him to speak up and he mumbles, “Frenchie oh wee wee gee in September.” Embarrassed, Victor stays silent for the rest of the period. This shows that Victor was more focused on impressing Teresa than the class itself which led to this event. He was unprepared, raised his hand and realized he didn’t understand French at all

They need time to grade exams and finalize grades from the previous semester, and they only have a short break between school years (Towler). By the time they do this, they might have less than a week to prepare themselves, their lessons, and their rooms (Towler). This is not an adequate amount of time for the teachers and it could impact students learning as well (Towler). Teachers also might have a hard time collaborating with each other because many of them are on different tracks (Towler). Students on different tracks might be learning completely different, or maybe even opposite lessons due to lack of collaboration between their teachers (Towler).
Attending class is important so I don't miss any assignments and get behind. Being in class is important because its proven that students are more likely to succeed when they have an good attendance. I do much better in school when I don't miss a lot of days. It is very easy to get behind in class when I don't show up. I do miss a lot of school because of sickness but I am going to try and go even when I don't feel good.
