According to Cascio and Aguinis (2011), job analysis and job description development are critical to attracting and retaining talented employees, making it essential for organizations like Red Lobster to develop effective job descriptions. Red Lobster must create job descriptions that align with its new business strategy to attract management-level staff who share the company's values and vision. Thus, this case study aims to describe the process of developing an effective job description for the Restaurant Manager position that aligns with Red Lobster's mission, vision, and values.
