Since elementary school, team work has always been emphasized to deliver impactful benefits. When I joined volleyball in middle school, I understood that everyone had to look out for each other and be on the same page in order to perform successfully. Applying my knowledge into this group project has helped me in various ways. The group research presentation taught me to effectively communicate, manage my time, and organize my data.

I consider myself to be shy at times, probably because I don’t feel comfortable. I 've been working to improve myself in that aspect. In a year, I’m going to be applying to scholarships and colleges which may occupy a large amount of my time. Balancing school work between deciding where to go to college and keeping up with my dance practice will be a challenge. In that scenario is where I believe time management skills will come in handy. Having acquired these skills will help me in the medical field become successful in accomplishing each task and submitting work on time.

Just like the stereotypical teenager, procrastination takes a huge toll on me. This is where procrastination and time management have an argument in my head. Luckily, I manage to have both parties agree on one understanding: I work on my sources and homework daily for a couple of hours, days before the work is due.
