Advocacy is essential in ensuring that the rights and needs of people experiencing barriers in healthcare settings are met (O'Connor, 2022). Facilitating clear interactions not only with clients but also with family and other healthcare professionals ensures that all parties are informed and requirements are fulfilled by promoting clear communication (Doe, 2020). Interpersonal skills promote teamwork with medical specialists and local resources, thus encouraging a holistic approach to treatment.
