I chose the simple task of writing my name five times consecutively. This activity was easy enough to complete, however it was very difficult to get consistent quality each time I wrote my name. At first I was able to write with ease while doing the task normally and with one eye covered. Although there was a subtle difference between normal and one eye. Normally my letters are spaced evenly however, when one eye was covered, some of my letters became connected by lines from the previous letter. I was unable to tell whether or not my pen actually left the surface of the paper. Other than my letters connecting, there was no real difference between the two ways of completing the task. For the most part I had a difficult time trying to write in a straight line. Each name continued to slant further and further as I went on the next line. I had no clue where I was writing on the paper because it felt like I was at the same spot even though I was moving my hand. The quality of my writing also degraded with each letter I wrote because I lost track of where I was. I also kept forgetting if I had written the previous letter and ended up with a few names missing a letter. The result came out to be a pile of jumbled letters written mostly in the same place.
While closing my eyes, my focus quickly changed to trying to visualize my name on paper. I tried to think how far my hand had gone to judge the distance I was from the previous letter or name. This change in focus made me forget if I had actually written the next letter I was supposed to, which resulted in a few names missing letters as previously
