This is Shatyra Wiley reporting live from the Boston Massacre. If you haven't heard already the colonist are tired of the British taxes them for NO REASON ! The colonist decide to do something about it. The British came on the colonist property war ready.
“FIRE, FIRE, DAMN YOU, FIRE! I DARE YOU!” yelled the colonists on the street as they threw snowballs, rocks, shells and clubs at the British soldiers. This was the beginning of what was called the Boston Massacre, it occurred on the night of March 5th, 1770. On this night, five men and boys were killed because of the confusion between the soldiers and the colonists.
One of an impactful, historical tragedy in U.S history is the Boston Bombing. On April 15, 2013, at about 2:50 p.m., two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The bombs explode within 8-12 seconds of each other, and they were about 50-100 yards apart. 3 people got killed and more than 260 people got injured. The window of the store near the explosion were broken and a window on the third floor of the Boston Public Library was damaged.
Edward Buckley here reporting live from Boston where a massacre has just outbroke. British troops were sent in to maintain order of the colonist. The colonist didn't seem to be too happy about that. Large groups of angry colonist came together and began taunting the British soldiers. Along with the taunting, the colonist began throwing snowballs and showing hostile actions towards the British soldiers.
John Adams was born on October 30, 1735, in Braintree, Massachusetts. His mother, Susanna Boylston Adams, was a successor of the Boylstons of Brookline, a protruding family in colonial Massachusetts. His father John Adams Sr. was a town councilman, a Congregationalist, and a farmer. When he was 16 he received a studentship to Harvard university, he advanced in 1775 at the age of 20. He was awarded his master’s degree in 1758, he studied law in the office.
Revolutionary War One cause of the Revolutionary War was the Boston Massacre. The four graves and nickname “Horrid Massacre” shows that the colonists were angry and enraged at the British troops for killing innocent people (Document 3). The colonists believed that British troops should have not fired because they were unarmed and just throwing snowballs, however, from the soldier 's ' point of view, they believed that the colonists are guilty because they were throwing clubs, ice and other sharp things. Also, the colonists were telling the soldiers to fire at them thus confusing them into thinking that their commander was saying “fire”. The angry colonists sought revenge and independence against the British.
Was the Boston Massacre Really a Massacre? One of the most common things talked about in the history of the U.S.A. is the Boston Massacre, but was this historical event commonly looked at as a massacre really a massacre. I believe that the Boston Massacre was not a massacre at all instead it was just the act of self defense of a few british soldiers that were being attacked by upset colonists. One of the most said things about the Boston Massacre is that the british soldiers fired into a crowd of innocent people, but there is many pieces of proof that says otherwise.
Although there are many reasons why the American Revolution started, a few of them had a larger consequence. First, the Boston Massacre had a major impact on the American Revolution. To continue, another instigator to the colonists seeking their independence was the Boston Tea Party. Lastly, The Battles of Lexington and Concord really pushed towards the American Revolution. Let us begin with how the Boston Massacre had a significant impact on the American Revolution.
On December 7, 1941 the Japanese fulfilled their attack on Pearl Harbor and this became the onset of the World War II for the United States. For the next few years the United States was fighting the war to destroy fascism in Europe and to get the Japanese out of the Pacific Coast. Many changes occurred which can be observed in the experiences of some groups and their home front experience. Although… Freedom during the war took on many definitions for the American people, for some groups freedom was denied all together. While women experienced expansions in their economic freedom, Japanese Americans experienced limitations in all aspects of their lives.
What was expected to be another exciting day of the well-known Boston Marathon, was quickly exchanged for a nightmare. Something as commemorative and upbeat as the marathon was plagued with a great evil two years ago and the miscreant behind this tragedy has finally was enforced with the death sentence. However recent news reveal that officials are holding another trial for marathon bomber stated in the article “State should close the book on Dzhokhar Tsarnaev” written by fbiabs. In April, the marathon bomber was sentenced to death, but currently state charges against Tsarnaev call for a new trial for the death of MIT police officer, Sean Collier. Many including the author are against reliving this difficult event and believe that another trial
The Boston Massacre is an event most Americans and British students learn about over the course of their education. In America, we learn that British soldiers fired upon innocent civilians, although this may not have been the case. British historians have referred to the Boston Massacre as the "Incident on King Street". After looking over the "Captain Thomas Preston 's Account of the Boston Massacre", as well as "Boston Massacre Trial Depositions" I believe that American historians should refer to the "Boston Massacre" as the "Incident on King Street". The definition of a massacre refers to an unnecessary and random killing of a large number of individuals.

The Boston Massacre was a street fight that occurred on March 5, 1770, between a “patriot”. They were throwing sticks, snowballs, and trash at a group of British troops. The loyalists got very annoyed with the patriots so they shot into the mob killing five. The riot began when around 50 colonists attacked a British sentinel. There were many disagreements and because of those, many events were the cause of the American Revolution. These events included bloodshed by others, peoples rights weren’t enforced, individuals didn’t receive freedom, and our country was just not yet whole. Despite of the causes of why the road to Revolution took place there were effects afterwards. When American Revolution was over with the The Declaration of Independence came into place, treaties were signed, and the Bill of Rights. Now these effects/events were amazing, it helped our country tremendously.
