Racism was a major role in Jackie Robinson’s career throughout his whole life of sports. “During his first season in the majors, Robinson encounters racism from opposing teams and fans, as well as some of his own teammates” (History.com). During Robinson’s career he had many major roles in playing and breaking barriers with racism. This affected his mental and physical game play in not just only the MLB but in other leagues and other sports he played.
