I believe that professional athletes are overpaid. Professional Athletes shouldn’t be paid as much because they are earning more money per year than most Americans for playing a game that most everyone could play, if people wanted to go to a professional game with their families, most couldn’t because they can’t afford it, and the lowest paid players in either the NFL, NBA, and MLB are still paid more than some of the highest paid jobs in the U.S. Professional athletes are very good at what they do, whether its baseball, football, soccer, or any other sport. Although, any other person in America could still do the same thing. The pro athletes may be better, but nothing about the sport is impossible for other people to do. If anyone put in the effort, then they could do it too. All athletes do, are play a game and earn thousands of dollars, but people who actually make a difference or save peoples’ lives are paid way less. Even better, people would love to attend professional games with their friends and families. Unfortunately, most people are unable to go because of how expensive tickets are to watch just one game. Seats for one person can get up to 10,000 dollars, now imagine how much money it would cost if you were going with your family. Prices should be lower so that more people can attend.
