Certainly, the retail business industries use that system to monitor their consumer habit or their favorite shopping because they want to know what type of merchandise or goods they need to put more on the shelves. For instance, if the consumers are looking for their shoes, so they might want to buy their socks. By learning the consumers habit, the retail business industries will arrange shoes and socks in the same section, so the consumers feel more comfortable when they want to buy their products. It seems that there is no privacy for consumers when they are shopping since they are in control by the surveillance of consumers by retail anthropologist.
