Colleges students could be placed in remedial classes for many reasons. One reason I believe it is right to place college students in remedial classes is that students with learning disabilities would be able to get used to the idea of college and courses. In my experience in remedial classes my freshman year of college, I thought it was extremely helpful to me because I was able to have a class I could attend to learn about the courses. In addition, I was able to get help in my other courses as well because the professors were able to give me resources. Many students may need this type of course because not every high school prepares students for college and teach them what to expect. If students are able to take remedial courses, then they will be more ready and ready for their credit courses. Students who take these courses may also have a more positive attitude toward their other courses because they will receive the reminder they need succeed. In addition, these courses might be beneficial to some students because it will allow them to understand their weaknesses as well as learn strategies on how to improve their weakness. Remedial courses are great for students who also need a reminder on subjects or topics they may not have understood during high school.
