At the beginning of the movie/play-write, only one juror, juror eight, decides the boy is innocent.

Stereotypes are commonly used throughout all media to quickly give a oversimplified description of a concept or a person. In the novel "Holes" by Louis Sachar the most dominant stereotypes of adolescent males held by the general populous are both challenged and endorsed by the variety of the characters ' actions and thoughts. To begin with on Page 5 Theodore who is also known as "Armpit" is depicted throwing Stanley to the ground. This is an example of an aggressive trait that is often depicted in many other forms of media such as Movies, song Lyrics etc, hence this action endorses this as a common stereotype amongst males. Earlier but on the same page Zero is introduced, he doesn 't retaliate to the insults Mr. Pendanski says about him

Prensky (2001) pioneered the analogy and contrast between the natives and the immigrants. Additionally, he claimed that there is a gap dividing the natives from the immigrants, and it is caused by the rapid spreading of digital technology. Rational and process information is the cause of the gap; Prensky stated that natives’ intelligence and brain structures modify in direct proportion to the emergence of technology and the degree on their usage. While Prensky also included that all the peoples’ brains are similar in matter, immigrants’ brainpowers are processed slower and thus cannot keep up nor understand the natives. However, he didn’t elaborate further on the more diverse reasons for the extending discontinuity between immigrants and natives.
The Way Sheriffs are Seen Today At one point in everyone's life, they’ve either stereotyped, or had misconceptions towards a group of people. Stereotypes have been used to profile different groups of people without really knowing the truths that they have. People stereotype different groups of people either because they won't except the truth about how they really, or because they’ve seen movies, tv shows, etc. about how they perceive that group as and they end up believing it.
Lulu Asselstine Mrs. Olsen LA 8 5 November, 2017 Stereotypes and Perspectives When looking at a bunch of bananas in a grocery store, people tend to choose the perfect spotless bananas, since stereotypically food that is perfect looking, with no flaws, taste better. However, people soon realize that when you start to eat bananas that have more spots and are imperfect they turn out to be sweeter and better. This connects to stereotypes because people who follow stereotyped will always eat the perfect bananas; however, people who choose to look through another perspective can realize that the imperfect bananas are better. This connects to The Outsiders because Ponyboy realizes this after he talks with two Socs, kids from a rival group named Randy and Cherry. In The Outsiders, S.E Hinton presents the idea that teenagers can break through stereotypes if they look at life through another perspective; as shown in the book when Ponyboy starts to talk to Cherry and Randy and realizes the stereotypes about them are false.

The greasers live on the east side and are known as “hoods”.
After reviewing the game Far Cry 3 I have concluded that the race representations in the game are very unfair and stereotypical. I have done some research on video games in general and all of the articles that I found point to the same conclusion that representation of race in video games is really bad. The three main critics I will be reflecting on are Ds’s article called Representation: Race, Ethnicity and Gender in Video Games and Video Gaming Culture, Stephen Shoemaker with his article Researcher examines racial and gender representation in top 50 video games. Racial representation in video games is a big thing in all games not just in Far Cry 3. In most video games there are the main character who is most likely white with other white
France. People think of many different things when they hear that word. You may think of frogs or snails. Others might think of wine or the Eiffel tower. These might be true for some people but not all.
Team Work - I 've felt like I work very well in teams, although I do also work well alone, it feels great working alongside people who can help you get a job done efficiently and easily, especially if you grow to like those people which in my past experiences has always been the case; so I 'm very used to working with teams. Maturity - I believe maturity extends far beyond what a lot of people would interpret it as. It accounts for more than just not laughing at immature jokes and being able to be professional when faced with a task. Sensitivity and empathy I think are two important traits which come along with the idea of maturity. Sensitivity, of course, accounts for how one talks to others, I 'm sure we 're all very tired of seeing staff members on other servers that are there just for the purpose of saying they got a moderator position on that server so when it comes to moderating, they 're very lethargic with their work and can be emotionless when monotonously speaking with you.
