Poor decisions are present in many places in the play of Romeo and Juliet, especially in the role of Friar Lawrence. One of the major decisions that later prove to be of bad judgement was his choice to willingly marry Romeo and Juliet, in absolute discretion other than notifying a select few. This is not only seen as a foolish move by the audience, but also by Friar Lawrence himself as he states “These violent delights have violent ends/ And in their triumph die, like fire and powder” (II, vi, 9-10). Here, it is shown that “like fire and powder”, Friar Lawrence himself predicts that this marriage will end in an explosion of sorts.

Rash decisions are made on a very common basis among people. A lot of stuff affect the decisions you make. May it be, being too young and not having enough experience to make good decisions, or just the lack of care of the outcome.
In the play Romeo & Juliet, Romeo is shown as a very rash individual, who is shown to not put much forethought when making decisions. This is shown in the text in Act 3 scene 1, during Murcutio’s death when he says, “I thought all for the best”, which shows his lack of thought on the consequences of stepping in between Tybalt and Murcutio during the duel, only showing the rash decision making process of Romeo, and its either positive or negative effects on others. Next, the theme of the play Romeo & Juliet is mostly centered around hate and how it can only grow roses of tragedy and grief, showing the grim lesson this play wishes to display to its audience. Reckless conduct often proves to be detrimental to one’s well-being and has the potential to significantly alter one’s life circumstances. Romeo and Juliet. The fantastical Shakespearean play told the story of two star crossed lovers whose backgrounds made them too complicated and delicate. Their fate drew a line through their hearts, forcing them to expectantly make rational thoughtful decisions. Though they ended up trying to defy their fate instead of working with the facts. Their irrational behavior was a catalyst for their demise in the play when falling into a forbidden love, throwing others lives away and making an incredulous plan.
In the story, the first bad event that Romeo made was in the beginning when he went to the party at the Capulets. Romeo could make way better decisions than that, he knew his parents and the Capulets were enemies with each other and he knew somebody was going to notice him there and know he was not invited. Boudrello tells Romeo, “The beautiful Rosaline whom you love so much will be at Capulet's traditional feast, along with every beautiful woman in Verona”. That was one of the many mistakes he made in this.

Love causes people to make many good and bad decisions, and this is shown excellently in the story of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo at the beginning of the story was looking for love and was extremely desperate.
The human mind during the teenage years often acts very irrationally. This is very much the case for Romeo in the play written by Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet. Romeo made countless bad decisions that led to his death at the end of the play. These bad decisions were influenced by the adolescent mind. In Romeo and Juliet written by Shakespeare, the experiences of Romeo are influenced by the adolescent brain through irrational adolescent behavior, impulsive behavior, and the rush of dopamine.
