In conclusion, the outcome of the play was due to free will because of decisions made by Romeo, Juliet and Friar Laurence. For instance, Romeo’s decision to go to the Capulet party allows for the protagonists to meet, and his decision to drink poison after hearing of Juliet’s fake death results in her real one.
