Would you kill yourself if your spouse died? Romeo and Juliet are from two different families, the Montagues (Romeo) and the Capulets (Juliet). Their families were fighting but they fell in love. They got married in secret with the help of Friar Lawrence. Juliet’s dad had an arranged marriage for Juliet, she was to be married to Paris, but Juliet refused. Tybalt, her cousin, fought Mercutio and killed him. Romeo killed Tybalt for killing his friend, then got banished. Juliet got a poison that would let her fake her dead, getting out of the planned marriage and to be with Romeo. The message Friar Lawrence sent never got to Romeo, so he never knew her plan to fake her death. Romeo’s friend brought him the news of her death, Romeo when back into the city to say his last goodbye’s. When he got there she was still in her coma, and he drank a poison that would kill him. As soon as he drank it and died Juliet woke up, saw that Romeo killed himself then she stabbed herself and died. They both have good spouse traits and bad spouse traits. They would make pretty good spouses though.

They were moving way too fast to know if they really liked each other, they didn’t have anything in common besides the fact that their families hated each other. Romeo killed someone in Juliet’s family and got banished, that should’ve been an eye opener for her to see that Romeo wasn’t all good. Juliet lied to her family and was going to leave them to be with Romeo, who’s to say that 10 years down the line Juliet sees another guy that she really likes and leaves you to be with him. She could fake her death and leave you behind. That’s not a good spouse, that’s an unloyal wife. Romeo would be a killer husband, and not in a good way. They both have bad spouse traits, and good spouse
