The ending of Romeo and Juliet was not necessarily caused by fate but by the subtle actions of those around them. The Nurse, Balthazar and Lord Capulets’ actions all had a role to play in Romeo and Juliet’s death. The nurse loses Juliet’s trust, later being left in the dust, Balthazar informs Romeo of Juliet’s death, causing a loss of hope, and Capulet moves the wedding so close with unquestionably no say for Juliet, rushing their plans significantly. Firstly, The nurse quickly lost Juliet's trust and officially lost a part in Juliet's future forever. When the nurse says, "One's a lovely gentleman; Romeo's or dish dishclout to him"(3.5.218-19) she spoke remind without fixing it as she always seems to do, and Juliet's thoughts and feelings were not put into consideration, Juliet reacts to this by expressing her frustration with the nurse to friar Laurence, "Ancient damnation! When Capulet says start "Hang thee, young baggage, disobedient wretch! I tell thee what! Get thee to church a’Thursday, or never after look me in the face."(3.5.160-63 Essentially, Lord Capulet is forcing Juliet to marry and even threatens her if she does not follow through with his plan. Lord Capulet also rushes the wedding between Juliet and Paris, as Paris tells Friar Laurence later, "My father Capulet will have it so, and I am nothing slow to slack his haste."(4.1.2-3) The wedding is soon moved to Wednesday however it's showing to be in caplets control still as shown here. His actions caused them all to rush their plans later causing a lack of communication. In short, Caulets forces Juliet to marry the counter Paris without giving Juliet the slightest say, also giving her only a few days to prepare.
