Yes, it is true that I wished for this arrangement with Paris to bear wealth for both our families. However, I wanted Juliet to be cared for, to live in the luxury a highborn lady deserves. I wished for her to have plenty of handmaidens and enough riches to satiate even her most exotic desires.
