A man known as Ryan P. Cameron has been accused for an incident that happened last year. Last year's incident was that Ryan was beating up his ex-girlfriend who is Carleigh Hager and nearly ripping out her tongue. On the midnight on October 26, 2016 the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute which a man known as Ryan P. Cameron assaulting his ex-girlfriend by strangling her and nearly ripping out her tongue in the 2300 block of Hanover Drive on the city's Southside. During the incident Carleigh was found covered in blood and was unable to speak clearly due to her injuries, which was sated by the court documents. According to the court documents Ryan followed her into the bedroom where he started strangling her and hitting her. While they were in the bathroom their friends tried to interfere, but Ryan forced himself into the bathroom and continued to beat her up, cover her mouth, and tried to rip out her tongue. Consequently, three months after the incident Carleigh had to restart her entire life because she not anywhere close to back to the way she was before. Therefore, she hasn't returned to work and she couldn’t go to the grocery store on her own due the fear of running in to her ex-boyfriend. She also had a thick scar above her left eyebrow. As of August 28, 2017, a plea agreement has been filed that Ryan was accused of almost ripping out his ex-girlfriend's tongue during last year's incident and Ryan is faced with two counts of aggravated battery and one count of strangulation from the Incident that happened back in October 22, 2016.
