After graduating from SUVA, I aspire to practice my knowledge in art and become an accomplished professional artist in Illustration. The skills to create beautiful artwork that can communicate my ideas to the world effectively are incredibly significant to me. Illustrating a story into a painting that’s analyzed, thought-deeply over, and can move a viewer’s heart is a goal I hope to accomplish through art. One inspiration I have is from Adelaide Babille-Guiard’s Self-Portrait with Two Pupils. In this piece, the artist captures herself as accomplished, satisfied, and engaged individual. She is engaged with others as a beautiful artist with skill. In my heart I feel this painting is a goal for me, to have the fine-art skills to produce something beautiful and feel beautiful within the art I can create.
SUVA’s arrays of talented and experienced professionals teach the fundamental essentials that will propel me through my career in art. Replicating an idea imagined and capturing life down onto paper takes a trained eye, relentless dedication and expertise. However, combining my zealous spirit of art and learning from professionals in the field I can learn to become a true artist. At SUVA, teachers care for their students, drive students to explore within themselves in the hopes of achieving new heights, and genuinely love art. There’s an abundance of information to learn in art that I’m seeking to attain from college teachers who feel the same way I do for art.
