Spring is the time of year where many people have to deal decision. Whether when to file the income tax return or to book the flight for the upcoming vacation days. But for many high school seniors, it is the decision whether to go to their dream school or not. Robert is about to graduate from high school in Sacramento. After deciding which college to go after high school, he came up with two choices. Either go to San Francisco State or go to Cosumnes River College. If he goes to San Francisco State, he will live in a great city full of opportunities. On the other hand, if he goes to Cosumnes River College, he will live with his parents in a city where he grew up. Firstly, he will live a well-known city and experience a full college’s experience. San Francisco is a well-known city around the world, and the center of innovating “Silicon Valley” where many technological advancements happen. Also, it is filled of cultural and historical monuments all around the city such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, Market Street, Mission street, etc. Furthermore, San Francisco is one of the biggest, busiest port and center of major technological companies such as Twitter, Yelp, Apple, and Uber (“San Francisco Travel” and “Junior Worldmark Encyclopedia”). In a city filled with life and prestige, it is one of a kind opportunity to go to school. The reason that it is one of kind opportunity is because when a student does not go to their dream school in a gracious, beautiful city. They will lose the opportunity as the student will move with his life after they get out of their higher education institution.
