This article talked about different safety issues with nuclear power plants. All nuclear power plant incidents have occurred from natural disasters or employees not following correct safety regulations. In the article they bring up another possible threat to nuclear power plants. Nuclear power plants could possibly be a huge target for various terrorist groups. If they were to make an attack on a plant it could destroy everything in a certain radius from the plant. Although if we have high security on these plants and strict regulations we can defend the plants against all threats. This article was published by a non-profit organization called Union of Concerned Scientist. The Union of Concerned Scientists include many professional scientists and high degree graduates. This article relates because it argues the safety of nuclear power plants. It picks nuclear power plants as a big target for terrorist
