The vision of reshaping the world around us and preserving this magnificent world for future generations inspires and encourages me to learn as much as I can about the earth. Studying overseas will give me an opportunity to further my academic study in a foreign country and absorb alternative view on urban and cultural geography, that’s necessary to correspond to recurring issues such as globalization, urbanization and water management. By learning how Chinese researchers, managers, and farmers habituate and respond to climate and environmental changes to make sustainable uses of water resources for both agricultural production and ecosystem protection. Since the end of my freshman year I have realized that my desire for conserving the space we utilize is a natural calling that I am destined to take, embarking on this educational journey to Beijing, China for the water resource program in the summer of 2018. Traveling out the country was only a dream my parents endured and with your help I can live a reality that my parents never experienced. Coming from a low income household were my family continues to live off a government based income, my financial support has anyways been a struggle, receiving less federal government funds for summer classes. Receiving the _________________________scholarships will allow me to receive an excellent education where I can study the Environmental issues, theory and sustainability learning that impacting the environment and how negative impacts can be better managed for improved conservation.
