Should We Allow Phones In School? Imagine what the world would be like without cell phones. Did you know that 50% of teens feel addicted to their mobile devices. “I finally realized it. People are prisoners of their phones, thats why they are called cell phones.” Since so many kids have mobile devices that they can use schools should allow them to use them. But if they are doing things not related to school work, then they lose their privilages and have to write a paper as a punishment. Schools should try this policy and see if it works. If it does, then teachers can do stuff online and not have to print off everything on paper and kill so many trees. This is a very hot topic in schools around the country. So many schools want to allow phones, but students misuse them and then get them taken away. In other schools they don’t want to allow phones because they are addicting, cause distracted learning, and are not safe. I think we shouldn’t allow phones in school because they have many harmful effects on children.
