Schools Shouldn’t Implement a School Dress Code Across the Board? Edith Head once said “you can have anything you want in life if you dress for it.” This quote is relevant because students should have the ability to choose what clothes they wear to school. Many students believe that schools shouldn’t implement school uniforms. There are three reasons why schools should implement a school uniform.First is that if everyone dresses the same school would be more boring and dreadful than it already is because of no diversity. Second, the First Amendment of the Constitution states freedom of expression (which includes clothing) so it is not a choice to dress how you feel but a right to dress how you feel.Finally there are some students that have a part time job and don’t have time to go home and change before going to work. …show more content…

Students Should Also Be Able To Dress They Choose Because of Their Rights.Students should be able to dress how they want because the First Amendment states freedom of expression.The First Amendment states that citizens have the right to express themselves which can include speech,act,religion,and how they dress.So choosing what to wear to school is not a privilege but a right that can’t be taken away.This is why students should not have a uniform because it violates their
