Science Forensic Essay Technology is getting better every single day. Technologies are used by a lot of people around the world to communicate, learn and discover. But these technologies can also help the people who are seeking for Justice. These technologies has been helping scientist to solve a crime. These people are called forensic scientist. So what they do is they look at the trails on the scene of the crime to search for fingerprints and footprints. These have been one way for them to determine who the suspect is. After working hard and they have found what they have been searching for, they come into conclusion that the suspect is and present it in court. And then the Judge will decide his/her punishment. Where a regular 28 Year old jogger named Trisha Meili was out at night at 10 PM and she was found on 1:30 AM in the morning and what they found that she was repeatedly raped, beaten up and was being left in a coma and in a nude condition. There were 6 suspects that are convicted of the crime. They thought that there were 6 suspects because the victim wasn’t just raped once, the body received multiple skull fractures and jogging pants which was soaked with blood. And they said that at the woman was at least raped 3 times. She was known as a successful and popular girl in the neighborhood. Five Harlem youths which are Anton McCray, Kevin Richardson, Raymond Santana, Yusef Salaam, and Kharey. They were then put into court and found guilty and they would at least face trials/ prison for at least 5-10 years. Although, these 5 youths are not the rapist of this 28 Year old woman. But these 5 Youths said that they are forced to admit that they did the crime by the authorities even though they did not do the crime. In 1989 DNA test wasn’t really existed and they were not really accurate, and after awhile they tested out the DNA of the 5 youths and none of them have a matched DNA with the girl who was raped in New York, Central Park. But finally, In 2002 they have found a guy named Matias Reyes who admitted that he himself was the only one who did it by himself.
