Science vs Religion Science and Religion have contradicted for years. Many say that they are not similar in any way. Science is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. While religion is the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. The Big Bang is a theory on how the universe started and then made the groups of stars that we see today. At the beginning the universe was very hot, small, and dense with no stars, atoms, form, or structure. Many scientists say that the universe was created by the big bang but many others believe God created the universe. It is mentioned in the Bible of how God created the universe in 7 days. Religion says that one day when Jesus comes back the world will end but Scientists believe that years from now, molecules in our universe will cease to move in a Big Freeze that will bring an end to everything.
