Over the last few decades, Scientology has gained widespread recognition with its celebrity endorsements and growing membership. It is a religion founded by L. Ron Hubbard, who emphasized the focus on a person’s relation to themselves, their family, all of humanity, other life forms (animals, etc.), the spiritual and material world, and the Supreme Being. {http://www.scientology.org/what-is-scientology.html} In addition to this, Scientology puts emphasis on the combination of science and humanities. When Mr. Hubbard’s work gained popularity, he began to study more about the human spirit. In recent times though, the Church of Scientology has gained many new followers and has expanded in numerous countries around the world. It has recently caught people’s attention when celebrities joined the Church of Scientology, for example Tom Cruise. Though his case was somewhat controversial, it did spark people’s interest and made them curious about Scientology is. One can learn a lot about the Church of Scientology by simply visiting their website or a nearby worship center. Scientology is an alternative religion that began in the United States and has expanded all across the globe. People are becoming more aware of it and have started joining the Church of Scientology at a rapid pace in the past few years. Many have become better informed of the religion and have become more curious as to what Scientology is all about and what the followers of this religion believe in. this has lead an increase in the numbers of followers and a better understanding of the
