There are many tools for educators to implement inside their classrooms, I will discuss and review three of those tools. The instructional tools I would like to discuss are SeeSaw, MakeBeliefsComix, and ClassMarker. These tools are used by educators and students worldwide. SeeSaw Features/Cost Seesaw is an educational app that teachers can implement in their classroom to strengthen communication between parents and students. This app is design to allow students to create a learning journal. The student can create, upload, or share what they are learning in class. Additionally, teachers can instantly view student’s creations or documents and can easily organized them into subfolders and/or share the documents with parents. Even though, SeeSaw provides teachers lessons to introduce to the product to students, teachers can’t assign their own assessments into SeeSaw. Moreover, students can only use the voice tool on SeeSaw with an Apple device. The last disadvantage is that teachers can only upload photos instantly, therefore, you will not be able to upload photos from a camera roll. This serves as a disadvantage, because of the interruption of instruction to upload a photo. Online Collaboration SeeSaw is a great online collaboration tool. As mention previously, SeeSaw can be used to document student’s projects, presentations, and papers through their online journal. Teachers can view and comment on student’s journal assignments. Through the SeeSaw app, parents can view their child’s work and visually see what the students are learning in class. Teachers can use SeeSaw to make comments and to present to parents during parent-teacher conferences. If SeeSaw is purchased, administrators can view what each student is learning and how it is being assessed.
