Also besides working out there I also am coaching more days of the week usually helping and motivating others to get healthy. I try to eat healthy but sometimes it hard to do so with classes, as it seems like I’m always on the go. My trouble comes with portion intake. I understand what portions to eat, however usually I get more than one portion in a sitting and in the end it hurts me. One thing that I want to work on is portion control and eating smaller meals throughout the day.

Nutrition is a primary source of energy, productivity, and wellbeing. Maintaining a healthy diet promotes good health, wellness, and healing. My personal goals to improve nutrition include: balancing calories to manage weight; decrease high amount of sugar, snack foods, and high caffeine foods; increase amount of vegetables, fruits, vitamins, and minerals; build healthy eating patterns; and increase amount of water intake. Sleep and rest are inevitable part of wellbeing. Lack of sleep can lead to physical and emotional exhaustion, and can result in serious health conditions.

Self-Evaluation on Counselling Session (One) Session start with a warmth greeting, by asking client ‘How can I address you?”, to be honest I felt nervous at the beginning of the session, too focus or particular on the name of client, client actually felt uncomfortable. I can just follow the flow and address whatever name client point out and start with small talk will be a good idea such as asking about his experience of travelling to the centre for his counselling session. Thereupon, I briefly explained the length of time of the session, confidentiality and the limitation. I believe that I deliver a clear message to the client.
After finishing the personal health assessment in the textbook, pages 21-32, I was able to notice which areas I scored high in and where I scored low in. The top two areas I scored high in were, “Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Use” with 83 points and “Social and Occupational Health” with 72 points. The two lowest areas I scored in and need the most improvement were, “Nutrition and Weight Management” with 47 points and “Stress Management” with 40 points. With the help of this assessment, the behavior change objective I would like to attempt for the next six weeks would be to limit fast food consumption to at most 3 times a week for six weeks.
