Imagine this: You and your classmates are asked to lift ‘x’ amount of weight, ‘x’ amount of times, or for ‘x’ period of time. During these lifts, you will be analyzed and assessed based off performance. The assessment will begin during or after instructions are given and will continue throughout the semester. Steady build of progress is expected and select milestones must be obtained in order to perform well in the class. After the instructions are given, you and your classmates are to begin performing the required criteria.
I can relate to your struggle in identifying the differences between the three terms, although being in the health care field my entire professional career. Analyzing the differences can take a while to process as referring to such terms has become systematic. It is fascinating hearing about your organization as I have not been exposed to the mental health sector of healthcare in my career. It is interesting that your organization provides anonymous self-assessment screenings, I assume it is anonymous due to the stigma associated with mental health issues. It seems as though health care is the focus of your organization, by pursuing overall societal health through the use of health services such as the self-assessments and outpatient clinics.
Akemura made considerable effort to develop her overall communication skills through regular attendance and self-study. She was conscientious in completing homework assignments as well as previewing and reviewing each lesson's content. However, she was careful to venture into new areas of communication, depending mainly on communication skills that she was confident in. This means it was difficult to judge her improvement during this course. Ms. Akemura seemed to understand the general theme and flow of the conversation but did not show sufficient communication skills to use clarification.

The part of emotional management showed the score of 79. I am someone who usually takes responsibility for my own emotions, although I could strive to be more consistent. When i make a point to manage my emotions, I am able to deal with situations or people that tend to make me feel upset. The ego maturity showed the score of 82. Considering my strengths based on emotional intelligence I can conclude that I am emotionally self-aware, I am aware of my strengths and weaknesses, I am comfortable with emotions in general, I am doing well in the area of emotional facilitation of thought, I have a positive mindset, I am empathetic and I possess good impulse control.
Out of the various ways to represent Georgia Southern University, becoming an Honors Ambassador has been one of the most interesting opportunities I 've heard of since my start as a student. Not only would it fulfill my experiential learning requirement, but it would help by building onto my essential communication and public speaking skills which are a necessity to succeed in today 's society. This opportunity also opens up a variety of work and volunteer experiences which could connect me with other Honors students and staff. Also, before attending Georgia Southern, I was clueless of the realities I was about to face as an incoming freshman.
Based on my self-assessment there are some areas that need improvement. The first area I would like to improve is nutrition. Because I work on night shifts, my appetite increases at nights. Unfortunately, at nights I usually consume most of my meals.
However, all communication is in fact goal driven with all participants trying to accomplish a certain goal. In relation to these goals, communication is said to be effective if the goals set for the communication interaction are fulfilled (Westmyer, 1998). When evaluated using the Spitzberg & Cupach assessment, effectiveness is an important part of communication and is a vital part of interpersonal communication competence. A personal evaluation of my effectiveness using the Spitzberg & Cupach assessment showed a score of 11 out of 15. One aspect of effectiveness that I struggle with, and which lead to the relatively low score in this category, is self-presentation.
Initially, I have well-created communication aptitudes that have ended up being exceptionally useful over the span of my work in the health and social care environment. The write-up conducted by Jaclyn Mihal provided an excellent experience in that I was able to read and analyze another person’s perspective on myself. This is essential in that you can learn what people see in you, and oftentimes this includes information that you refuse, or cannot, see in yourself. Overall, Jaclyn’s write-up of my personality assessment and demographic information was correct, in my opinion. She mentions that I am a driven, positive, friendly person who is in touch with my feelings. Jaclyn also said that she believes that I prize values and morality, which is true.
In this assessment task, I took advantage of many of the feedback resources listed; as to get a clearer grasp of what skills I do obtain and which I’m yet to refine. After identifying my strengths and weaknesses in writing principles listed in the table; it is apparent that I require more assistance when writing at an academic level. It was through this feedback I learned my deficiencies comprised of poor or overuse of nominalisation and adjectives/adverbs. From this, I consulted the web for ideas on ways to revise and develop my knowledge to a more acceptable standard. I found a plethora of websites available that offered readings, exercises, and quizzes.
Self-Evaluation of Master of Health Care Administration degree The assignment of self-evaluation as it relates to the achievement of Master of Health Care Administration degree is difficult to put into scholarly texture. Defining the journey leading to this degree pursuit can be long winded and more of a documentation of key cornerstones in life.
