Standiford provides a professional resume of Sergeant Matthews’s accomplishments from a patrol officer, a skillful interrogator, and becoming the chief polygraph examiner in Miami in 1976. This was essential to demonstrate that Sergeant Matthews was a well-rounded and experienced investigator. Detective Jack Hoffman, the lead investigator of Adam’s case is also introduced in chapter 2. It is noted that when both Detectives meet there is a clash of personalities.
Regardless how much time is left in the shift,I 'd start by going over to the client who is injured and assist him. I would ensure that the client has clear airways and can breath. I would call for 9-1-1 and staff assistance. While emergency services are on the way I 'd look to see if there are any hazards in the area for us or the client. It 's important to stay calm and quiet with the client while we wait for emergency services to arrive.
(7) Sexual Harassment/ Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP). In the month of October, the 1CD RSSB SHARP program was reestablished by updating areas that lacked coverage or function. The required items/documentations were created and submitted for approval: SOP, Appointment orders for Collateral duty SARC/VA’s, MOA’s, and FY 17 Annual/Quarterly training. The BDE SARC connecting with subordinate units to ensure that all trusted positions at the BN/CO levels were filled and ensured unit/individual understood the BDE Commander role within the program. Candidate Shealy was able to brief an almost complete five paragraph order with a calm and confident delivery. SNC did not brief admin and logistics or command and signal but briefed all other paragraphs. During the briefing, he made eye contact with his fire team and had grabbed each member while tasking them to ensure they knew he was addressing them directly and also oriented them to the problem by showing it to them during the brief. The quick transition from the brief to execution demonstrated the clarity and quality of SNC’s briefing. While negotiating the obstacles, SNC continuously requested feedback from his fire team members and included them in his next decision.
I am proud to recommend SSG Jacob Worley for consideration as a United States Army Warrant Officer Candidate. SSG Worley possesses the qualities required of a future Army Warrant Officer, specifically those needed to excel in the latest addition to the Warrant Officer Military Career Specialties (MOS), the Cyber Operations Technician, 170A. He has served as my Arabic Language Analyst and NCOIC of Analysis and Production for the 102 Combat Mission Team (CMT) for nearly two years. During this time his technical proficiency, attention to detail and adaptability has been equal and at times, has surpassed the skills of individuals assigned to more technical cyber roles within the team.

Technical support The largest issues caused by the bill are direct conflicts between U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Alaska Department of Natural Resources (ADNR). The supporters of HJR 69 boasted faulty claims for support, using a political platform created by Trump to oppose all Obama-era rules for being too liberal (Ruskin 2017). Comments in support of HJR 69 state that the prohibitions would affect Alaska residents’ access to hunting land and subsistence hunting. Proponents of the bill also voiced fears that the federal government would take state land as well as control over it, thus taking power from states.

Re: Letter of Recommendation for Joshua Whiting To The RA Selection Committee: I write on behalf of Joshua Whiting’s application for a Resident Assistant position. I believe Josh to be an exemplary student-scholar as well as a person of tremendous character with significant leadership skills. I met Josh in my first semester of college in our biology class. We were both Biochemistry majors so we got to skip Biology 1 and therefore were both new to this new world of college but already in a group full of sophomores and students who had been in college for multiple semesters. Naturally we gravitated to each other due to this aspect we had in common.
Angela Davis demonstrates the ongoing violent abuse as she quotes a report on sexual maltreatment in women’s prisons, “We found that male correctional employees have vaginally, anally, and orally raped female prisoners and sexually assaulted and abused them” (Davis 78). However disturbing this blunt sexual contact that male officers take with the vulnerable prisoners may be, the officers adopt even more severe tactics to harass and abuse the women as they often utilize “mandatory pat-frisks or room searches to grope women 's breasts, buttocks, and vaginal areas...” (Davis 79). To add insult to injury, women are virtually incapable of escaping from their abuser(s). Prison employees upkeep their inappropriate behavior as it is believed they will “rarely be held accountable, administratively or criminally” (Davis 78).
Imagine joining the military at a young age, preparing to see the world, make new friends, and form a bond that often rivals that of close siblings. Only to endure the unthinkable the unimaginable an attack not by a foreign enemy but at the hands of a fellow soldier or superior officer. This is the tragic truth for many soldiers, both men and women alike, it is not uncommon and it is an invisible wound that lasts long after the soldier returns to civilian life. This paper will reflect the importance of change within the Veterans Administration regarding Military Sexual Trauma. Ruth Moore, joined the military at the tender age of eighteen from a poor background expecting the military to help her pay for college.
Sexual harassment and sexual assault are very serious issues happening today in the workplace. Women or men have suffered from unsolicited sexual behaviors that are typically provoked by someone “higher” in position. “Sexual harassment especially has been a fixture in the workplace since women began to work outside their homes” (Fitzgerald, 1993). It is solely the responsibility of the employer to ensure that all employees within are aware and are very cautions of laws, misconduct, and liabilities. Employers must enforce the Policy Prohibiting Discrimination and further extend those laws and guidelines to their employees.
