The Great Wall was made by the Qin and Han dynasty's to keep out invaders and other enemies. The benefits did outweigh the cost because it kept your city protected, it was harder for invaders to attack. They also put troops in the frontier areas of the Wall to increase the security level. According to document A it states that "the government will construct walled cities, well protected by high walls, deep moats, catapults, and thorns." This shows that the Qin and Han wanted to make it harder for the mongols to attack and that china wanted to be prepared for when other dangerous situations happen.
The benefits of the Great Wall did not outweigh the costs. The reason being the amount of deaths and ineffectiveness to keep people out. During the construction of the wall many soldiers died and suffered. Both the Qin suffered during the construction.
Roads and canals were used by the Yuan for trade and benefitted their economy greatly. Also the military technology invented by the Yuan benefitted their military domination greatly. For example the gunpowder bomb was a weapon of war used that could efficiently kill enemies. While also the Yuan created things for self pleasure and entertainment, like playing cards and dominoes. Though the Yuan dynasty is not known for its innovations during this period.

Despite the losses of the workers lives the great wall benefited China by providing protection,glorifying China, and helped the trading system.
The Qin dynasty succeeded the Warring States Period (475 BCE - 221) (Britannica, Warring States, 2014, 2018), and the Spring and Autumn Period (770–476 BC) (Britannica, Spring and Autumn Period, 2017, 2018). During the Warring States and Spring and Autumn Periods, there was a massive power vacuum and several different states were locked in a struggle for control over China. The most prominent state during the Warring States Period was the Qin state, they revised the governing methods of the once influential state of Zhou. They made changes to land distribution, power distribution, education of the common folk, trade, and units of measurement throughout China. The changes made by Qin Shi Huang are what made him successfully unify China.
The cemetery that I chose to visit was “Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery in Scottsdale. Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery was established and has been managed by the Hawkins family since 1957. It is a part of Dignity Memorial, which is America’s largest provider of funeral, cremation, and cemetery services. Upon driving into Green Acres’s grand stone walls, it doesn’t take long to notice the vast amount of graves that lie within it. There are small roads that wind within the cemetery to take you as close as possible to the grave you wish to visit.

Furthermore, despite his mixed reputation today, he brought six warring kingdoms together to form the basis of a country that has lasted to this day, an impressive feat that was a huge turning point in Chinese history. “The Tomb of the Three Kings” has some of the major characteristics of Chinese revenge tales. First, the subject that “needed” to be murdered is often a ruthless king who killed irrationally as portrayed in the tale. Second, revenge often involves another person, i.e. the assassin, who is initially not directly affected by the conflict but is either voluntarily attracted or imperatively requested by the one who seeks revenge. Third, Chinese revenge literature seems to present a “singularity”, which the “revenge” depicted in the tales are mostly for the sake of righteous. Revenges are conducted in order to protect and defend justice, and aim to eliminate viciousness and evil.
Finally, the last example is the fact that it had made a great lookout for China. The Great Wall had made it so much easier to prevent unwanted wars or keep unwanted people away from starting wars. There are so many more benefits but these are so of many that prove that The Great Wall of China’s benefits did outweigh the
Gunpowder, one of the most necessary inventions, was invented in East Asia and it is essential to bring it back to its rightful place. Gunpowder would be extremely beneficial to China because it can be used in the military, it helps make TNT and TNT helps to create canals and roads. It also creates fireworks which could be used in trade and entertainment. Gunpowder helps to construct canals and roads by using the TNT to blow up rocks and it expands areas and creates room to build the canals and roads. The canals and roads will also provide transportation.
