“Jerry was the kind of guy you love to hate. He was always in a good mood and always had something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, 'If I were any better, I would be twins!' He was a unique 16 year old because he had several waiters who had followed him around from restaurant to restaurant. The reason the waiters followed Jerry was because of his attitude. No one could seem to figure it out it was a mystery. Jerry was a very great a positive guy and most people he worked with or even his family for that matter hated how he was so so positive. Jerry tried his best to not let what people said get to him. His whole life he was hurt by many thing his dad was a drunk. His mom told him everyday he was worthless and was going nowhere in life. He grew up with hate and negativity and as a kid this type of hurtful things made him really want to give up a lot of the time. He always was a depressed and felt very unloved and unwanted. But all tho he had all these struggles it made him the man he is today. Jerry learned over time that he didn't need people's approval to be a great and amazing person he could do all that on his own. He knew he didn't need people to define him he was going to define himself. From that moment on Jerry promised to never give up on believing in himself.
