Should the U.S. Government Require All Americans to Have Health Insurance?

This is serious. One of the top social and economic problems Americans face today is health care. There are over 319,510,848 million citizens in America. Is every single human being able to afford a doctor's visit or prescribed medication? The requirement for health insurance forced upon United States citizens is problematic because it isn't fair to the employers, Medicaid lacks accuracy, and the United States is being led into greater debt ("Right to Health Care: Pros and Cons").

. Within the Constitution , the Preamble states," Promote the general welfare," but by no means does it say to give it freely. The government's health plan would mostly benefit the disabled rather than those that are healthy. In the article, "Pro and Con Argument: Should All Americans Have the Right to Health Care?", it cites, " Under a single- payer system, the right to health care is paid through taxes." Those taxes are forced out of the doer's (employer's) paycheck to support the health care services for people who are jobless. It is not fair that ones paycheck is aiding this. ObamaCare is understood to be a way to make health coverage reliable for all people who are uninsured or have low-income. While otherwise, this Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) will gradually increase the country's debt by $340- $700 billion. This would only cause the medical resources to slowly decline; the government will add this issue to its expenses. The U.S should focus on reducing its debt rates ,not continue to add to it. In the meantime, a solution for this chaos would be to get rid of ObamaCare and Medicaid, cut the spending, and push for better health
