Isn’t it so fun to go to your favorite sports team game? I love going to football and soccer games because there so exciting and interesting. I believe that the people that make our lives more interesting should be paid a lot. They take time away from their families, pay a lot of money in insurance or taxes, and they risk their health just to make our lives better. I want to tell you why these entertaining people get so much money. First of all, many professional athletes take a lot of time away from their families for practice and games. Imagine only getting to see your family like a few times a week, and not really getting much time to talk or interact. What if a professional athlete just had a new born child and he/she couldn’t even stay home to see them grow up. I wouldn’t want to miss anything important in your families lives. Also, when the athlete has finished with their career they come back to knowing nothing about what’s going on. The sport thing is true its very nice that your job is to do your favorite sport, the money on the other hand isn’t at all what it cuts out to be. A lot of high earning athletes have to pay taxes that is half their salary. For example, if a professional athlete makes about 20 million dollars a year they probably would have to pay about 10 million in taxes. Another thing is, for athletes it’s very hard to get health insurance because they know they are going to probably get hurt a lot more. Therefore, they would have to pay more money to get health insurance then a person who owns a business. Once a professional athlete gets hurt they also have to pay for the injury. For example, a simple knee replacement cost about 35,000-40,000 dollars and my guess is that athletes have to get those a
