Hook: Pluto is the only dwarf and farthest planet we know in our solar system. Because Pluto is so small, scientist argue on whether or not it should be a planet. What makes Pluto, so special is the size of it and what’s known as a ‘Dwarf Planet’. Pluto was created by pieces around it just like all the other Dwarf Planets as well.

I believe that Pluto should be categorized as a planet. Three reasons that support my belief on ‘Why Pluto Should Be A Planet’ are; Pluto is round just like any other planet, it has five moons, and it orbits the sun.

My first reason Pluto should be a planet is because it is round just like any other planet.

If Pluto was too small to be a planet, would it be fair if we said Jupiter was too big to be a planet?
Conclusion sentence: This is my first reason Pluto shouldn’t be a planet, because Pluto is round and doesn't make it different from the other planets.

My second reason Pluto should be a planet is because it has a clear orbit.
This is because … (example 1) Pluto swept clear of all objects in its orbit.

This is also because… (example 2) objects around Pluto has a greater disadvantage of orbital speed decreasing with in its distance.
Conclusion sentence: This is my second reason Pluto should be a planet, because it has a clear orbit.

My third reason Pluto should be a planet is because it orbits the sun.

This is because … (example 1) Pluto is much further away from the sun than Earth is.
This is also because… (example 2)
Pluto orbits at an average distance of 58 km (kilometers) from the sun and Earth's average distance of 150 km.
Conclusion sentence: My third and final reason is why i think Pluto should become a planet.
